OK Prosthetics is a non-profit organization working in partnership with Össur Prosthetics.

Using cutting edge research and technology, OK Prosthetics has developed a new method for producing and fitting artificial limbs, which yields far more comfortable results than traditional thermoplastic limbs, typical in developing countries.

Why this limb makes sense

Despite the astounding fit, training for technicians takes only 1-2 days and does not require a technical background.

Rehabilitation facilities are not necessary.

Limbs can even be fitted on location, as WRF demonstrated during its pilot program in Pakistan.

Once the patient is fitted, physical therapy is seldom required.

WRF and OK Prosthetics believe that the goal is not about the limb--it is about getting people back to work, back to their familes, and back to living their lives.
